Kirk Cameron is a television and film actor, known for his memorable roles on ABC’s Growing Pains, and films such as Courageous, Fireproof and Lifemark. His current show on TBN, Takeaways, highlights the work of the family of faith in every area of culture, as he interviews key leaders, educators and entertainers.
Kirk and Marshall Foster worked together on the movie ,Monumental, to tell the Untold Story of the Pilgrim fathers and mothers, and explore the unique covenant these families made with God as they searched for true freedom to worship and train their children in the truths of Scripture. Since that time, Marshall and Kirk have shared a friendship and a passion for seeing Revival spread across America and partnered together to share the story of The American Covenant.
Kirk continues to host regular “Campfire Revival” sessions online, where he discusses Biblical, and historical solutions, to the problems modern American’s face. He points back to the heroes of the faith who laid down their lives and fortunes, as steppingstones, for the next generation.
As an author, Kirk travels across the country speaking at churches, libraries and schools, encouraging his audiences to share their faith and advance the Kingdom of God in every field. Kirk and his wife Chelsea are the founders of Camp Firefly, a camp for seriously ill children and their families. Together, they have six children and reside in California.
